Neeta Ogden, MD

Dr. Neeta Ogden, an Adult and Pediatric Allergist and Immunologist is certified by both the
American Board of Allergy and Immunology (ABAI) and the American Board of Internal
Medicine (ABIM). Dr. Ogden completed her undergraduate studies at Yale University in New
Haven, Connecticut and her medical degree at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx,
New York. Dr. Ogden went on to complete an Internal Medicine Residency at Albert Einstein
College of Medicine followed by a Fellowship in Adult and Pediatric Allergy, Asthma and
Immunology at UMDNJ in Newark, NJ. Dr. Ogden is a fellow of the American Academy of
Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (AAAAI) and the American College of Asthma, Allergy and
Immunology (ACAAI) and is also a member of both of their media teams. Dr. Ogden frequently
appears on Good Morning America Health, ABC Healthy Living and ABC.com for segments
about adult and pediatric allergy, and also contributes regularly to print, online and radio media
including publications such as Martha Stewart Living, The Huffington Post, Women’s Health and
Health Magazine among others. Dr. Ogden specializes in testing and treatment of all allergic
conditions including skin conditions such as contact dermatitis, hives and eczema, seasonal and
year round environmental allergies, asthma, chronic sinusitis and food allergy to name few. Her
specialized allergy testing includes allergy skin testing, patch skin testing, pulmonary function
testing, food, drug and insect venom allergy testing and food and drug allergy challenges. Dr.
Ogden also has a great interest in prenatal allergy counseling and advising parents on allergic
risk in newborns and children and has done extensive research on the use of probiotics in
infancy as a preventive measure for allergies.
